Thanks for your interest in working at our studio.
We’re often contacted by teachers asking about job opportunities. While we appreciate the interest, we want to be upfront about how we hire.
Most of our teaching team has been with us for a long time. Many have been here for 5, 7, even 10+ years. As a result, vacancies are rare. When positions do open up, we almost always fill them with people we already know and trust from within our community.
This isn’t about exclusivity. It’s about continuity. We’re a close-knit studio, and our priority is maintaining consistency for our students and teachers.
How we hire
When opportunities arise, we look for teachers who:
Are already part of our community
Have a regular personal practice with us
Are mature, experienced, and professionally grounded
Are registered with Yoga Australia
Understand and align with how we teach and hold space
We don’t hire based on CVs alone, and we don’t run open auditions.
Before contacting us about work
If you’re interested in potentially teaching here in the future, the best place to start is simple:
Attend classes regularly
Practise with different teachers
Introduce yourself in person
This gives you a real sense of the studio, and gives us a chance to get to know you naturally over time.
A note on expectations
If we don’t offer you work, please don’t take it personally.
We have 5-10 people each week asking us for a job.
There are many more yoga teachers in Brisbane than there are teaching roles, and most studios simply can’t accommodate everyone who applies.
When we are hiring, we announce it clearly through our usual channels.
